Modern day witches are self-serving wimp asses, says Prof Crow
The BBC website recently did a a feature on modern witches in the north of England (read it here). I showed it to Professor Crow and he was not best impressed.
The feature quoted the head of a witches coven who said:
“We don’t do anything sinister like Devil worship and we don’t make human or animal sacrifices…. We honor, revere and give thanks to nature. We celebrate the seasons. It’s not all blood and gore. In spring, we celebrate life and rebirth then in the winter, decay and death to make way for new life.”
This is what the Prof said after reading the feature:
“Now them witches says that all they do is good and believe in this here Three Fold Law Of Return, or some other such donkey crap. Now, tell me if I’m wrong, but don’t that mean that when they do good for somebody, they’re really hoping that they will get the good shit back three times better? Man if that ain’t self-servin’ I don’t know what is!
Yeah, I seen all those spell books in the bookstore when I go to town and it’s a sad day when the conjure man’s trade gone and been reduced to saying a few nice little affirmation over a pretty colored candle. Crock o’ motherfucking shit. Those witches are wimp asses!”
Now, I’m totally anti animal sacrifice or animal cruelty or exploitation of any sort, so I agree with the witch guy above on that. But Christ, taking the Devil worship out of witchcraft spoils all the fun!
