Here’s what I do to spiritually charge the 2019 Lucky Spirit Talisman…
At the witching hour, I go to the “Place of the Red Witch” – a country crossroads some thirty miles from me. At that crossroads is an old stone (see picture below), which is associated with an old spiritual healer known as the Red Witch who lived in the area during the early half of the 18th century.
The Red Witch looked after the local community by providing herbal remedies for the afflicted, and casting spells to help people in life.
She was renowned as a “luck bringer”. When crops failed or livestock fell ill, she would restore the luck of local farmers.
At the crossroads I summon the shade of the Red Witch…
I give her offerings in return for her bestowing her blessings on the arcane items that make up the Lucky Spirit Talisman. This makes the talisman a living, breathing artifact that will attract good fortune throughout 2019 – and beyond if you choose to keep the talisman as a lucky totem generally.
The talisman consists of various charged items, including a sigil stave, hagstone (from the beach this summer), John Conqueroo root, crystal aport (materialized from the ether), and a guiding “lucky” sigil which you can carry standalone, if you so wish.
