No matter how idealistic you are, we all NEED money to live. Yet many people are squeamish about the pursuit of it; this could be down to the well-known Biblical quote which states: “You cannot serve both God and Mammon.”
The term Mammon comes from the Hebrew word for money. Mammon has always been portrayed as demonic by Bible commentators. Gregory of Nyssa, for example, said that Mammon was another name for the arch-demon Beelzebub.
Be that as it may, there is no escaping the fact that we cannot survive in the modern world without money, even more so in these troubled recessionary times.
Consider this quote from actress Mae West:
“I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor. Believe me, rich is better.”
And this quote from T.Harv Eker:
“Every master was once a disaster. No one comes out of the womb a financial genius. Every rich person learned how to succeed at the money game, and so can you … Success is a learnable skill.”
I think all but the most frugally minded would agree with that.
Voodoo conjurors have always worked the roots to get the money they needed. One powerful method of bringing money fast is to petition Mammon to bring you much-needed cash.
Here’s what you need to do:
» Perform an opening ritual, either using candles and essential oils, or completely visualized in your mind’s eye, which is in effect you own private virtual workspace. Or use the method below Calling the Quarters from Murry Hope.
Welcome Elementals of the South, of Fire. I ask that you bring your gifts of passion, strength, energy, and will power to this circle.
Welcome Elementals of the West, of Water. I ask that you bring your gifts of emotion, pleasure, fertility, and receptivity to this circle.
Welcome Elementals of the Centre, of Spirit. I ask that you bring guidance to this circle.”
– Calling the Quarters
» Sit or lay down, relaxing your mind and body completely using your favourite methods.
» Picture Mammon as a golden wolf, majestic and powerful. In his Divine Comedy, the Italian poet Dante Alighieri (1265-1321 AD) depicted Mammon as a wolf-like demon of wealth (wolves were associated with greed in the Middle Ages). But as we see the pursuit of money as necessary to survive – and indeed as a perfectly acceptable pursuit – we depict Mammon as a golden wolf, an heroic creature.
» Now imagine yourself becoming Mammon the golden wolf. Be a part of its body, as if you are a shape-shifter transforming into a werewolf. Feel the wolf’s muscular power, feel it’s dominance, know that it is a powerful hunter and attractor of money and wealth. Know and affirm within yourself that the golden wolf Mammon can make money at any time and under any circumstances, no matter how bleak. Great Depressions and recessions would not stop Mammon successfully and single-mindedly hunting down its monetary prey.
» In your mind’s eye, run and bound along in the form of the wolf. Feel its superior muscles, and sheer limitless energy.
» Imagine yourself leaping onto vast mountains of glittering cash, swallowing it down hungrily as an ordinary wolf would its prey. Feast on money. Feast on checks. Gorge yourself on gold. When your appetite is satisfied, slowly come back to yourself and perform a closing ritual, then stretch your muscles luxuriously and completely ground yourself.
Done properly, this is a highly effective way to attract more money and riches in general into your life.
