Why is being "thoughtless" a good thing?
Because your thoughts literally shape and direct your life. Letting thoughts run riot, without control, means you aren't at the helm in your life. You aren't directing the flow.
Thus stopping your thoughts is the first step towards shaping your life the way you want it to be.
After outlining the benefits of stopping your thoughts, I outline a method, involving your senses, which makes it easy to stop self talk - and has the side benefits of making you very relaxed and reducing stress and anxiety. It's a method you can use anywhere, from walking down the street or riding the subway - or in the boardroom.
