There isn't a fixed format because there isn't a fixed reason for having a consultation.
Sometimes you need an outside perspective on something that's become difficult to see clearly from the inside. Sometimes there's a particular question you want to pursue in depth. And sometimes you simply want an hour to explore ideas that don't fit comfortably into ordinary conversation.
Tell me beforehand what you want to talk about and I'll come to the session prepared. From there, we'll see where the conversation takes us.
