A SonicSigil Transmission

An electrical invocation of destruction, transformation and the unknown.

Created from improvised electric guitar, subjected to processing until the instrument begins to lose its identity. Strings become machinery. Metal becomes atmosphere. Familiar sounds dissolve into something stranger.

Around two minutes in, the landscape opens. Countryside ambience meets enormous, distorted bass frequencies. The ancient and the electronic occupy the same territory.

No conventional composition. No programmed rhythm. No attempt to make the instrument behave.

SONICSIGIL :: THE METHOD

Intention enters the instrument.
Improvisation generates the raw signal.
Processing destroys the familiar shape.
What remains is the artefact.
